Private Hubs?

I have notice lately that some hubs I used to visit are now private hubs.

The problem is I do not know how to contact them to see if I could join them. It might seem like a weird (or stupid) question, but is there a way to contact private hubs (a list of e-mail address?) & see if I qualify for membership to them?

Try emailing former members or people you know that might be a part of one of the elitist private hubs. Other than that I pretty sure you are shit out of luck.

Some people may have irc channels with DC hubs going or some members stay in public hubs and look for new people to join the private hubs. No one wants to share the same stuff over and over.

Why would you want to join a private hub anyway?

They are all full of pig-headed, arrogant elitists. What, with their mammoth shares which signify a lack of fresh air and sunshine, they pompously deride "average" filesharers, kazaa "n00bs" and anyone else who has less than 500GB of quality files on their network.

I hear the hub-owners are an especially self-important breed. I doubt you can give them a wide enough berth personally.
