It's a risk worth taking. Upload bandwidth is scarce for Dial-Up users, so larger files should only be shared with other users that will ease the load. AND YES, Dial-up-users SHOULD share - especially their unique & hard to find files. as for your whole block list thing ya got going - it's totaly counter-productive to the sharing community....I would block you from downloading from my PC for the benefit of the whole (thinking that you don't share even though you do) where you block out of spite, and hurt the whole.

I believe you're missing wy whole point of my blocking - it's only for the sake of preserving the availablility of hard to find & unique files.
Due to my limited bandwidth, I want it to be used the most productively. For example, I would block someone downloading Metallica-unforgiven.mo3, but would let that same person download Metallica-Unforgiven-Rare demo.mp3. They can get the studio version elsewhere...like from a broadband user.
Furthermore, let's say someone was downloading Metallica-Unforgiven-Rare demo.MPEG , I would only let them download it if they were sharing since it's a large & rare file, taking significant download bandwidth from other users that may want at my files. BUT if they share, I'd be GLAD to share it with them so they can pass it on - keep rare & hard to find files from going extinct.
Again - I block for the sake of the whole, and this is my dial-up user philosophy only.

PumpkinSeed:
Sharing is sharing, I understand what your trying to accomplish, but at the sametime I don't. I mean it's pointless unless you are going to monitor everyone of your uploads.
Canceling a popular file and allowing a rare file???? Than why share the popular one in the first place????
