Every single time I download a Batman: The Animated Series cartoon, it won't play.

The message at the bottom of the Windows Media Player window it says that it can't play back the video stream. That I don't have a suitable decompressor.

So what? Do I have to get some hardware to watch the 'toons?

Any and ALL HELP will be appreciated. PUH-LEASE help.

Try another player. I use Global Divx. its free and works on almost all formats. also plays stuff WMP wont. Also make sure you get the latest Divx codac, from DivX (http://www.divx.com) .

Yeah thanks a LOT man. I hate to say it, but there's one prob though...

...I installed DivX Player 2 Alpha. Its the free prog from the site. Every time I try to open it, a window pops up saying that it generated errors and must be restarted. After five times, I most humbly ask you for an alternate program, if you or anyone knows of any.

Again, thanks dude.
