WinMX seems to only recognize and let others download about the first 2,500 of my mp3's. I have well over 15,000 files and have been trying to make all available for download. I've tried breaking my files down into even more sub-folders, then added those folders to my shared files list, and still no luck. Does anyone know what the deal is with this, and if there is a way to correct it? Thanks in advance for any help that you can give.

on wpnp network (default winmx network) the limit is currently 5000 files. was 2500 on 3.22 and earlier versions.
Krell was referring to opennap servers, where the rules vary from server to server, from filetypes, limit etc.
But the good news is while your browse is limited to 5000, the other files will come up in file searches. So they are available for download via searches..

I upgraded to WinMX 3.3 as soon as it came out, but that hasn't helped. My file system is set up so that each group has it's own folder, and everything is set up in alphabetical order. All groups show on my shared file list, but the only groups that people seem to be able to download from me, are the first groups that start with A, B, C, or D. This leaves well over 800 groups that WinMX doesn't seem to recognize, and doesn't allow others to see or download from me, not even when they do searches. Any Ideas as to how to get around this, or maybe trick the system into accepting more of my files?
