Shared Files tab missing

Ever since I started to use the Ants 1.0.0 series I ran into a graphical problem:

hitting the "Shared Files" button (on the front tab) initiates the "Shared Files" tab. When clicking the "Shared Files" tab my shared files do not show up. Instead, the front tab stays in view. However, when hovering the mouse over the screen, parts of the Shared files tab such as buttons and sliders appear. Fortunately, that includes the Close button as well...and I'm back at the front tab.
Other tabs e.g. Downloads, IRC etc. show up okay.

Any idea, anyone?

Try reinstall ants, anything like a running process could have affected the install, or eles it's a bad version? Try re-downloading it...!

yeah, re-install. see the tutorial section on how to do that if you not sure. occasionaly any installation will get screwed up.

Uninstalled the executable. Cleaned out all temporary stuff in both XP and Java directories. Did the Java update which became available last week.

Downloaded and installed the latest executable and everything seemed to work fine. The Shared Files tab showed up perfectly well. Until I did the update via jnlp. And I was stuck with the same problem.

All in all it does not seem to influence ANTS' functionality but this is really annoying. (Just as the horizontal scrolling I need to do on the front tab. No, I do not have a 20" screen.)

Any suggestions? E.g. registry edits?
