Video game geeks will be tuning in for sure. Thats who cares ( I can't believe you don't want to take a look!) and thats why theyre doing this. I would like to see it myself although I won't be buying one. I have a shitload of games I only play when there is nothing else to do, plus really right now I see no reason to want another console. Games look good enough for me and "the plays the thing". I'm still rocking mame ms pac man! Think I'll play a game now! Im just old and love the old school games more than anything. I'll play FF3 forever.

I remember when Mtv did the same thing for Dreamcast... mainly because at the end of the special, Method Man and a couple of other Wu Tang guys took off with the consoles and games.

If im not mistaken, the PS3 is to be debuted only 4 days later. If thats the case, prepare yourselves for an onslaught of video game ads.

Although the PS3 is 'debuting' a few days after the Xbox 360 it wont hit the shelves for many months after the xbox 360 gets released.
Sony is giving MS a huge head start here.

New xbox won't be as good as ps3. To prove my point, take a look at the hardware of ps3. Cell chip and blu-ray disks. Do i need to say more?

E3 is May 17-19 (http://www.e3expo.com/)... I am not able to go to this... I went to the CES thinking there would be games there... but the E3 will have all three console manufacturers showing their new wares (in some form).
Dammit... this makes me upset.

Other than beefed up processors not really. But, like it's predecessors, the 2 new gaming systems both have the ability to make your cash disappear.
Until the developers actually come out with original games, do we really need a game system that can display a bajillion polygons? Somehow a powerhouse machine running the same type of games already represented in the current generation consoles seems like a waste of time.

Other than that and the GPU, RAM not really. But the 2 systems combined is the same cost as a computer. Looks like you forgot the Nintendo Revolution which is basically the console you need. " Originality and Innovation "
