CD Burning--Photo Slideshow

How do I burn a photo slideshow with my cd burner? I've tried Nero and DVD Photo slideshow and the dvd player wouldn't recognize the CD..any help would be appreciated

Some dvd players wont play cds, unless its a vob file on there or a svcd. More so it will play music cd.

I just woke up, and so I took the time to show you while trying to focus, you get the idea from the pics.

The last 4 are from a jpop DVD I made, but that is how the frames should look on ur slideshow.

OH, and BE SURE to NAME your slideshow ! You'll be glad you did.

i dont have that dvd video plugin it shows thats been detected in step 1. hah what the hell.. im new and need help with this burning pictures-video stuff...

Gather up your versions of Nero products, you may have NeroVision 3, that will work against you

What do you have to work with? (EXACT version number)

I use the Nero 6 Ultra Edition Plus Updates, but NOT the NVE30127.exe !

I have NeroVision Express v2.1.2.21

I've used Nero 6 Ultra Edition (6.0.0.9)

I've tried making a picture slideshow with "DVD PhotoSlideshow" with no luck. By the way is Playstation 2 able to recognize these burned cds do you know?

i used irfan view makes and iso and burn baby

I upgraded Nero now to the latest version. I used NeroVision Express for the first time, I go to Make New Slideshow and choose Video CD ( I don't have the DVD-Video option that is shown on your screenshot Krell. I am using NeroVision 3.) Anyways I add some jpgs I want on my slideshow, I burn it. It doesnt recognize on the DVD Player, or Playstation. What am I doing wrong, and what is a VOB file?

.vob is a file extention used by DVD players, and you need to change the file name of most vob files to a .mpg so that Nero will use it.

If you want to get this done and stop banging your head on the wall, use the product versions stated

Most torrents that are called "Nero 6 Ultra Edition" or "Nero 6 Ultra Edition Plus Updates" will have them already. Youre digging yourself in a hole with the updates, dont do that, unless you know it will work for you, which in this case, does not.

arrrrg . . . . we could volley this for days and not get anything done!

V3 needs a plugin that 2 has . . you need the plugin, therefore you need v2

I cant make this any more simple

If someone here has version 3, and they can tell you where to get the plugin then by all means, I hope they do. Otherwise, I can only tell you what I know, and what works, im not psychic, and I do not work for Nero.

Either get what is a known good, or pioneer it yourself.

I know this is a little old now but if you're still willing to help or anyone else,

I have the DVD plugin, Now when I am burning and im about to write I click the option Burn To: Image Burner
Am I suppose to use Image Burner or MY cd burner ?
BTW, my burner doesn't show up all I get is Image Burner

Image Burner is for burning disk image, so no! Perhap you didn't install ASPI driver for your cd burner, you can download from Nero's website or go to this site to read what ASPI is & where to get it. http://www.nu2.nu/aspi/

Well my CD burner is detected when I run NEro Burning ROM so I think the driver is installed. ITs just when I go into NeroVision Express, Click Make DVD... DVD-Video, Make New Slide Show, I add my images, Customize the menu, then I click on Burn To and only Image Recorder shows up, but on everything I try to burn my burner will show up.

I use Nightwatch Softwares SlideshowToGo.....give it a shot, they play fine on my DVD player

In Nero, you have to select DVD on top center of the screen's drop down menu to tell Nero to use DVD Burner for your DVD Video!
