Currently you can pick what port you want Ants to run on and then automatically it will also use the very next port. So it would be 21 & 22, or 80 & 81.

We have been asking to be able to also pick the second port manually, but currently Ants does not allow that. There are a lot of people on university networks with that same problem, hopefully this will be fixed before long.

you need two consecutivly numbered ports. if you can not get that, you will probably have a problem. I do not know the answer.

Try this

Using your web browser, enter the following default router address into
the address field of your browser: http://192.168.254.254/
At the login prompt, make the following entries:
User Name: login
Password: admin

~or~

User Name: admin
Password: admin

If this doesnt work at first, use the RESET pin on the back, and try to reset the router. You may have to push in with a paper clip etc for a few seconds until the lights go off. Once the router is reset, try the log in again.

IF THAT doesnt work try this:

For routers equipped with the reset button and containing no dipswitches, you must push the button and hold it for five seconds until the test LED turns amber. At that time the router will accept the six numbers from the serial number label as the password. The router will not need to be rebooted after you have logged on, the LED will change back to green in a few minutes.

I can not believe this, this must be your lucky day. I think Gwren just did away with that 2 port requirement in version 1.0.0 prot 0.6.1

i do not have enough info just some brief notes be left me. I will report when i have something. In any case get the new version and see how it works. perhaps you can report back to us sooner then I hear from Gwren.

sdorry i was wrong about that. He just changed the way direct connections are made. You still need two open consecutive ports
