Re WinMX, can anyone tell me what "Bandwidth Prioirty" and "Trim 10k" are for? I've tried "Bandwidth Priority" and it doesn't seem to make any difference!!

Bandwidth priority is supposed to allow u to give priority to specific users, but it is hit or miss.
Trim 10K is in the event of an abrupt disconnect of a download. Which can cause a filemismatch, a resume doesnt match, or a Download with no progress.
This is caused because the end of the file has been corrpupted, Trim 10k allows u to remove the bad part and return the ability to resume. @ times u will need to trim more than once, But it is an effective way to avoid having to restart a large download.
For other winmx issues go to a FAQ i wrote (Since it seems Frotcode is never going to) http://vladd44.com

Thanks Vladd for your information. I have checked out your website and I'll be referring to it from time to time in future for any help with WinMX. Thanks
