problems oveclocking dual channel memory

I lost the manual!! and I have only 2 sticks of ram what slots should the be installed in?

also what do i have to do with bios settings for dual channel?

I had this computer oCd with pc1600 micron sticks to 2400mhz now I can only push it to 2300??? I must be doing something wrong!

My bios has overclock setting and im using an older AMD Barton 2600 mobil this chip will allow Dual channel right?

Im really confused on the memory settings in Bios what can I add to this thread to help making diagnostics easier for anyone I can help?

Ok I have my voltage to cpu set at 1.625 which is higher than before temp is around 43 C which is lower than before......if I try to push memory volts + I get a beepcode error and have to clear everything.

I think have the placement of this Ram wrong or else this board may have issues or something, shouldnt I be able to get my FSB to 220 and my multiplier(clock) to 12??

Dont buy any computer with this board revision it can not handle dual sided sticks runnin in dual channel I played around with it for hours to no avail. I also found out going to OC forums this board will simply not hit 200mhz FSB stable and my cpu is great for this AMD Mobil 2600 which is strange because I was running 3 sticks 256x2 and 1 128 pc1600 crucials reading at dual channel???????wtf???? this board sucks apparently you have to bios mod it and that is iffy because not all of them work. I guess your better off buying 256x2 1 sided or wait till 512s 1 sided..........fuckin piece of shit

thank god I bought the ram from newegg......oh well it was a nice try and the thing didnt cost much to build.

If anyone runs into this issue with Biostar boards I can give a very elaborate reason why its real long so I wont bother unless asked.
