Ok, I want to compile a list of completely spyware free p2p programs! I dont mind programs with ad box, as long as no pop up ads! Also, dont mind spyware that can be deselected from installation!

I've been using p2p from early days of Napster and have realised lately how silly I have been in my choices in the past. I'm fixing up comp at moment and will not make same mistake again, so I want to compile little list of good progs.

Limewire
eDonkey & Emule
Soulseek
Shareaza
Bittorrent (when I get broadband in a few days!)
Imesh?
WinMX
Ares?

Thats all I can think of. Is there anymore that I should think about and are above ok? Am gonna limit myself to max of 10 p2p on my machine! Will put ten I choose in my sig!

Might be easier to say which programs to stay away from, take a look at this website:

Does eDonkey have spyware? I know it has advert box, however, all third party software you can deselect! I think? If i do, is i safe program to use, because its pretty good, eMule dont seem to work as well for me, though aint used it in long time!

- Updated the list - 222 programs !

- The truth about p2p rip-offs unveiled - Ever wondered why so many rogue p2p programs like BitComet Accelerator/ Ares Gold and others are listed on many software archives sites ? Maybe because of the high commission paid ? (http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/8426/mp3searchtools8mu.gif) rofl...

Morpheus & BearShare Lite should be on the "Spyware Free" list

Not really, since RIAA, MPAA, and BSA spies on you through connecting to the network to see what your uploading and sharing to others.
