View Full Version : downloading -> getting cut off or what?

Did anyone actually get a download to start or complete since beta 8? I did not. Everytime I double click on a file, it goes in the downloads and says "waiting for [random]" and then errors out. I do have a firewall but it let's all the ports go trough, for winmx. Or is it just those nasty traders that have nothing better to do then monitor their uploads and clear as they appear?

:shy Hi nutty I was going to tell you earlier that I had no problems, but I thought I would use it again tonight, and I have had all my downloads crash 3 times so there sems to be a problem.last night I had no problems at all.The uploads all seem to work ok.

well nutty boy, actually my ability to search for new sources etc have significantly improved. Also have had no probs d/ling. Sounds like just a rehash of previous problems surfacing for you.
Too bad win 2k didnt work out 4 u.

:fire Hi again nutty I found that I had to change my settings to connect directly in this version. In the older ones I couldnt get any speed so you might want to try adjusting your settings.

:shy PS Hi to you vladd, I dont know if it is just me but I seem to notice that you have to tinker with the settings with different beta versions. Also if his problems are from xp when I move from 98se it will be to 2kpro.

2kpro and xp corp pro are both pretty good, for a windoze product.
