do you have safeconnect enabled? ( enable it )
are you behind firewall/router? ( http://portforward.com )
update your server.met ( http://ed2k.2x4u.de/ )

cant connect: could also mean it's full, offline or private

are your ports being forwarded properly and to the correct ip?
by saying you "turned your firewall off" sounds like you don't know how to configure a firewall, or you need one that you can configure

Now (when I added your server's list), when I turn on emule, I started to get such message:
No serverlistaddress entry in ''addresses.dat'' found. Please paste a valid serverlist address into this file in order to auot update your server list.
any ideas?
turn off "update server list on startup"

well normally when i set up a new app i have to configure my firewall to what ports to allow what type of incoming and outgoing connections, udp, tcp, ect ect
having to "turn off your firewall" to allow incoming connections doesn't sound like a good firewall, or it's one you dont know how to configure.
