does this site use a crawler, in that when you upload a torrent from a tracker it tracks that tracker automaticly, or what? just karious

No offense to z but history proves your sites don't last very long. I would give you a month tops. Like always though, i'll check it out.

Hey Stownplayer,

If you are referring to EpiTorrent didn't last long, we can all thank Top Cod3r from NexTorrents about that, as he hacked the domain management and put a permenant re-direct on it to their site, Inside-Source is alot more protected than my prevouse sites, you can come back in a months time and still see us with a hell of alot more torrent :-)

Thanks
ZenoX

Sorry to hear that. I'll still support anything bittorrent.

Hey,

Yeah thats deffinitly good to know, we need as many torrent sites as possible to help fight back, and i think alot of people now prefere "No Registration" torrent sites since the whole LokiTorrent incident.

Thanks

Hey let everyone hear know where you are hosting the server at. That makes a difference also.

You really help your site a lot by disclosing all the info you can. I know i don't use public trackers unless i know exactly where they are hosted. I also load all the blutack blocklists into protowall for extra security.

Hey,

Yeah well at the moment we are hosted in Sweden but like i said we do plan on moving as soon as possible to a server in China as that will be more secure, i have implemented a script which automatically updates our current IP blocklist and bans any IP that tries to visit Inside-Source if it is in that list (based on peerguardian list).

Thanks

I think this site sounds like a good site for BT users indeed.

I have a question though if you have a website or P2P app supporting peer gaurdian and other blacklists and that same website allows proxies dosent that kind of defeat the purpose of using peer gaurdian?

I may be wrong but from my thinking the ANTI filetrading organizations I am sure are hip to things like peer gaurdian and such which would lead me to believe that they would in fact use proxies to get around the blacklists that are imposed anyways...

Anyone else ever thought of this? I may just be flapping my gums and missing something here but thats why its in question.

Hey,

Yes there are ways for them to get around using proxies, as with peerguardian it is just a set list of banned IP's, so if someone visits and that IP isnt in the list it will let them on the site. There is only so much security we can have, i ALWAYS suggest that people are actually protecting their systems aswell, as this helps alot (i know stupid but some people still dont). All i can do at present is keep updating our blacklist as much as we can to help keep them out!

Thanks

ZenoX,

Good deal you are correct you can only do so much man.

I just wonder if you kept the black list updated. And blocked proxies as well if it would infact be more benificial to the P2P community.

On thinking in that aspect the proxies would be useless and so would the antiP2Pers true IP addresses making it difficult for them to do much of anything without using another IP that didnt fall into these blacklist IP ranges.

Just thinking on things here by all means your doing the biggest favor by providing the website in the first place and you should have the blacklisting instated in any sense.

Thanks man, this script is only in place for the time being, i will be looking into other methods of trying to ban "their" IP's in the future. We have only been online for a few days and have already had great feedback, all i can say is thanks and to keep on uploading as many good torrents as you all can, the only way we will get better is if we grow :gj

Hey,

We still need as many torrents as possible to be uploaded, so please if you have any on your computer, upload them to our server, that way we will have a bigger selection for you and everyone else.

Thanks to everyone who is visiting and is uploading :gj
