As I have still been seeing people wondering about SP2, and how to set it up this should be of some help.

And please please please please please please don't disable a service unless you know exactly what it does, and what depends on it.

I have used BlackVipers site for quite a while now. I recommend it to others as well. It has made my XP and 2000 puters happy. CPU makes a very good point though. The way I did it was to not disable too many services at once. I did about 3-4 at a time, writing down what was disabled, and watched closely for any problems. I found out that networking home computers do rely on some of the servises that are suggested disabled....so yes, be careful! Good post, hunter!
