I doubt it would be something that everyone would enjoy. Playing it and game play would be awesome, but the lag, or cut in talking communications, as well as glitches will dry the game up . =(

It'll be cool. The PC version isn't bad at all. xBox live has proven to be a superb online gaming community.

Why does everyone have to waste money on crap? Just get Battlefield 2.

Shawners, Novalogic will have dedicated servers that run the 50 player matches. A regular player trying to host can only go to up to 16 i believe, i hope its good.

I dont know about that.. Dedicated servers are fast, but to send and recieve communication to 50 players at the same time. As well as about 5000 people playing it at any given time.

I'm not too sure my self how it will work out since this is the first time there trying 50 players on xbox live, but i hope there servers are good, I know they pushed the game back to june, it was supposed to come out on may 17th. Microsoft claims that alot of the next gen games are gonna be able to run 50 players.

I don't believe that. I went to this site: http://pc.ign.com/articles/389/389876p1.html and it only said editors' choice award. Problem is that is the only site I found that have a award for this game. How many people did the pc version support?

Although IGN gave it a high score, I went to gamerankings.com and it gave it 77% overall. http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/561605.asp?q=black%20hawk%20down Very good game? No. Good game? Yes.

Novalogic has no problem running 150 player servers for Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising, and the expansion, Joint Operations: Escalation.

I've seen enough problems with Halo 2 running Big Team Battle games with 16, now those arent dedicated servers, so I can see that 50 with a dedicated one would be a lot different. Might have to check this game out :)

You might be right about the game, but that's not what you quoted. It said "best selling PC franchise" which I believe refers to Novalogic, not necessarily DF-BHD.

Oh sorry, I thought it refered to DF-BHD.

Novalogic's a crappy company. But you gotta love em for being the dumbest company out there. I mean if you go on the novaworld message boards, You get nothing but complaints. They listen to none of them. They just do whatever. Not listening to a thing the people say.

One of my best friends works for them.

I got to test a game for PS1 and they sent me to E3 in 2002.

Got a T-Shirt too.

They're not that bad.

Well. I am not saying they're not nice. I am saying they don't seem to really bother tending to user feedback.

I think Novalogic as a company has seen its better days, but im still gonna give this game a try, never know could be fun. The Storyline of the pc version was just like the movie one.
