I've seen the tab, I've toyed with it, but haven't gone "all the way" with it. Jeti is a mystery to me, as far a the sign in process goes.
1. Is there a specific server you should use?
2. Do you have to register (i.e. give an e-mail) If not, what are the defaults for using it?
I can see the advantage of using Jeti over IRC for bootstrapping, as well as a more secure area for discussion. Any clarifiaction is appreciated.

You can use any server you like here is a list of them: http://www.jabber.org/network/ and here is a list of the uptimes of the servers: http://scriptrepo.jabberstudio.org/jslist/

You have to register, but you can leave the email field empty on most servers.

The jeti site is working again, so for more information see http://jetiants.tk/, english tutorial is at http://jeti.jabberstudio.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Ants/Tutorial (The site is not fully recoverd yet so you have to press approve links before you see the images, and you can't edit the site yet)
I'll try to update the webstart to the newest version today

Thanks for the information. I'll definitely check it out!
Remember kids, we need your library closed too, we don't want you getting compact music disks, books, magazines or movies for free. It would shut down the industry.

simply, its a mute client with a built in Jeti Instant messanger. Ants uses the ip's of people you are chatting with in the messanger to connect you to each other in the ants porgram. it serves the same function as the chat room or the webhost caches.

You want you can click off irc and webhost bootstrapping and only use jeti to connect only to people in your chat group.
