:devil Ok I want to know what video game is your favorite. Is it an old school game or new? Is it on the PC or one of the game boxes or is it an arcade game? My personal favorites from the arcade have to be the old school games like Donkey Kong or Dragon's Lair. I well remember shoving lot of quarters into those 2. But if I had to choose 1 it would have to be Dig Dug. It wasn't that great from a technology standpoint but it was simple and, most important, FUN!

Empire Earth definetly has to be my favorite game ever. As far back as I can remember, I've never had so much fun playing a video game. I'm still wet behind the ears when it comes to strategy games though. My first was Age of Empires 2: Age of Kings.

I used to play Kick Off 1 and Kick Off 2 into the early hours at my mate's house. Old school Amiga game.
But I've had other moments of gaming nirvana on the Amiga : Flashback, Millenium 2.2, Dune, and Monkey Island spring to mind.
PC? Command & Conquer, Quake and Half Life were special.
(Most PC games now fall into these genres, Point & Click strategy, and FPS)
Ahh, those were the days. They don't make 'em like that any more.
btw, "Faxorite" isn't that a software package?

FF7 kicked ass, showed that graphics didn't mean all that much while still pushing the psx to it's limits an giving you one hell of a ride. Pick it up if you haven't played it yet. Greatest hits - 19 bucks can't beat that. As for oldskool zelda is a must as well as SMB 3, older skool q-bert had it's moments.

The Legend of Zelda. All games in that series are great. But the greatest game I have ever played has to be "The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time". Just unbelievable. I have never seen anything come close to that game on many levels. Best all time for sure.

Final Fantasy VII does it for me. Next, Final Fantasy X and then Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, then Xenogears.
Goldeneye was good, but what about Perfect Dark? Sure I know the story sucked but technically the script for Goldeneye was written by a multi-billion dollar company.

I'm more into the simulation games where you can play god.
My favorite was simcity2000. and then came 3000 and that blew. I got the crappy build that had all the dumb cheats. And then came The Sims, and then I was in heaven until I realized that Electronic Arts makes some of the buggiest games around. So I'm waiting around for the Sims sequel, and hopefully the problems I had will be addressed.

When I was a little kid I played a game called 'Section Z' on old Nintendo. It was my favourite then. Can't find it now.
My favourite at this moment is Roller Coaster Tycoon. Don't laugh, it's a cool game (or sim).

I have a couple of em. GTA III, Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, and HALO. Also, that new Mario Sunshine game is good, it may sound and look gay from the commercials, but it' s actually a really good game.

I really like to play the old arcade games like Asteroids, Burgertime, Super Breakout, Speed Rumbler, Donkey Kong, Crazy Kong, Berzerk, Galaxian, Jungle Hunt, Pac-Man, Pooyan, etc. I also really like the Mario series on Nintendo especially Super Mario World for SNES. As far as newer games go, I would have to go with Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver.
