Is Paul really dead?



It would explain why all his solo stuff pretty much sucked. The story goes Paul was in a car accident early one morning and it was so bad his body was left FUBAR,. Due to really unknown reasons, the details of his death were with held from the public. The 3 remaining Beatles wishing to keep the Beatles going looked for a Look-a-like to replace McCartney. They found a guy named Billy Campbell who with a little plastic surgery was a near dead ringer. The only difference is he has a scar on his upper lip that appear in photos after 1966. It is said the 3 remaining Beatles paid tribute to Paul in many Lyrics and album covers and even some songs played backward say Paul is dead, like 'Im So Tired' supposedly says "Paul is Dead man, Miss him, Miss him"

I say Paul died. That explains why they toured no more after like 1965 and why Wings sucked balls. Here are some sites that go into details.

Im pretty sure it was all a hoax, as much as there is some weird shit on the cover of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club. I dont think he is dead, and whats this about his solo work sucking !?!?!?!?!? His solo work is awesome, some of my favorite songs are his solo songs.

Most of William Cambells first solo stuff was penned by John Lennon while still in the Beatles. Once he ran out of left over songs Lennon had wrote for him, he started making songs like "Uncle Albert". Which was written by Ringo.

I've heard this story before; and from a very reputable source.

It makes alot of sense. You can notice a marked deterioration in his songwirting ability post 1966, culminating in the ludicrous nonsense he released with the band "wings".

Billy campbell was a notorious Paul-hater who was employed by the rest of the band (who were jealous of Paul's superior talent) with the aim of reducing Paul's reputation to utter farce. This he accomplished with the release of "ebony and ivory" with Stevie Wonder and that stupid song he made with the frog chorus.

It was a great scam that The Beatles themselves masterminded. But it was just a game. The proof is in Paul. Look at him play and sing. That isn't an actor. Watch The Beatles anthology....when he plays Eleanor Rigby on acoustic...you'll know it's him.

And for the record..there's a a lot of great music in Paul's solo carreer. RAM is one of my all time favorite albums.

Oh yeah. Check out Sergent Peppers's Loneyly Hearts Club Band...album cover. They played with the "Paul is Dead" so much. If you take the mirror image of the writing on the bass drum (across)..it says I ONE IX HE DIE...meaning November 9th......which is the supposed day Paul was in the accident.

Heres how it goes. No, I do not think Paul is dead. No, I don't think the beatles contain some sorta secret powers to put baclwords messages in there songs without them noing, but the cluesare lagit. Paul supposedly died November 9th 1966, a wednday at 5:oo. If you look at the back of your sgt pepper albums georges finger points to the lyrics to she's leaving home, particularly,"Wednday morning at 5:oo when the day begins. Then, If you stick a mirror horizontaly across the word LONELY HEARTS, on the drum it will read,"I ONE IX HE <> DIE" There are two thearies about this. the three onews(I ONE 1) represent the three beatles and the X is paul, or it reads a date 11.9 (11 is"1 one" and 9 is "IX"). The he die is obvious the arrow between the two words points straight up to paul. I also went through the trouble of playing some songs backwords. The chilling song revolution number nine backwords states a crowd chanting GIVE US PAUL, and PAUL IS DOOMED. Then, YOKO ONO says SATAN LOOK AT ME! and there is silence another three minutes of crowds and some piano then crackling flames a car crash and silence. Slowly piano comes in and you here. Turn me on, dead man, Turn me on, dead man. OVER AND OVER AND OVER. This is also cool. If you flip over magical mystery tour and put a mirror over the words THE BEATLES it shows a phone number. If u called it in the sixties John would give you details on pauls death!

Yah, but he sang good tunes after 1966 as well, its not like he split soon after to do his own thing. Plus even now he sing ssome of the old stuff solo style and it sounds pretty dam good. Interesting theory though. Guess there really is a conspiracy story for everything..

To the one who mentioned the pasport dealy,
Paul didn't have a passport! It's weird and, yes, illegal...
Also Billy Shears, in the myth of course, didn't change his name he just led america and britain to believe
he was paul. Oh and if you want to hear the songs backwords I have them. I'll warn you though one of them is
