Anyone out there use Phex? I just checked it out. It seems OK, but it has trouble connecting to the Gnutella network. I am trying to use it to create a private file sharing network, because eDonkey never seems stable enough for me.

If you want to start your own private file sharing network why don't you try DC++ ( http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/ ) & go to their forum to check out the hub software, so you could start your own hub!

There's a few reasons why I am leaning towards Phex right now.

1. It's multi-platform (DC++ is only Windows)
2. It offers multi-source downloading (I don't think DC supports it, but does DC++?)
3. It offers host browsing (which I think DC already supports)

I've tried this process with OpenNap, eDonkey & Shareaza now, but none of them satisfy the above criteria and are stable enough.
