Hi there ..
I use ARES but the sources are too low ..
How can i make it faster ?? I wanna modify it ?? are there any plugins of it?

I got DSL connection and the speed in ares is too little !
The fastest speed i had on a file with high sources about 15kb ..
This is too little for a 514 DSL connection !
What's the problem ?
I got no firewall !!

Sources means how many users have the file.. Probably people on a network limit their upload speed, upload slots, and would gladly share it after the first 1000 people on the que obtain it.

I'm using Ares 181 but it can't connect. Same with other programs
I'm not using any firewall

make sure you have the latest version 1.8.1 build 2960 (1.77MB)
