Ares Problems

I use ARES but the sources are too low ..

How can i make it faster ?? I wanna modify it ?? are there any plugins of it?

I got DSL connection and the speed in ares is too little !

The fastest speed i had on a file with high sources about 15kb ..

This is too little for a 514 DSL connection !

What's the problem ?

I got no firewall !!

Sources means how many users have the file.. Probably people on a network limit their upload speed, upload slots, and would gladly share it after the first 1000 people on the que obtain it.
