I'm doing a research paper with the broad topic of intellectual copyright regarding online music but I want to narrow it down. Anyone have any ideas as to what angle to attack it from and possible ideas for a thesis statement?

Seriously...I would like to read some analysis, and love to find out the answer to...

"How online file swapping has encouraged the recent growth in new forms of music distribution."

"Illegal music distribution and it's impact on CD music sales"

"The computer indusrty's efforts to thwart online copyright theft, and the reason measures are not already in place"

You can interview me. Or if you need any help just ask. You can be like, A Zeropaid.com user, known under the alias of Matt responded to a few questions. What do you think of Gnutella. Gnutella and cellphones (I wrote an article on that). And other stuff. -Matt

Attack it from the angle on hoiw piracy has taken place even before P2P, what has been done about it, what has failed and what is planned along with the challanges that are faced to successfully protect content and etc.

If you want to interview someone in gnutella then my advice is to post a message about it on the GDF (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/the_gdf/) explaining what you are doing, and that you wouldnt mind interviewing a developer.
