A) its your ISP, ignore it
B) just block the range and get something to eat ;)

Are you sure?

just keep your firewall on, and you'll be fine.
it's probably not your ISP...there are a lot of people/sites/servers at ADN. i believe that's where the zeropaid server is as a matter of fact.

Mike (I'll leave off the rest),
Download Protowall and blocklist manager - they are free. These will block outgoing and incoming IP ranges for very little effort and resource - and you can add any ips you want. You will be surprised how many of the enemies of p2p are watching - and protowall will help you to keep them at bay.
The only downside is that you need to install a driver for protowall - rather than just a program but instructions are available.
Best regards
Chris

If you have a firewall and the ports that were scanned are blocked then I'd ignore such scans. If you started getting flooded with requests then you might be experincing a DoS attack and you would get knocked offline. When your IP eventually changes sometimes you get requests that the person who used to have your IP got. Since your machine will not respond, eventually they'll stop requesting from your IP and start requesting from the right one.

Don't tell me...ur using sygate?
Aljaydu
January 25th, 2005, 06:20 AM
Well, I use Sygate. I get the same thing.
Somebody is scanning your computer.
Your computer's UDP ports:
33458, 33459, 33460, and 33462 have been scanned from 206.251.233.107..
I went to this site:
http://www.pcflank.com/
Plugged in a few port numbers and they all come back stealthed.
I ain't worried.

that ip range can consist of many services from amazon to other sites follow this google link and seek what i am talking about. in fact i will post some search results ok its not a port scan, sometimes when you go to certain web pages, they might have advertisements or something which could be amazon, or whatever.
this in turn shows that you have more then one ip address range connecting to a website, this is normal.
heres another example.
say if i go to dinkyballs.com and that ip address is 111.122.123.123, that ip address will show up on my firewall, but if they have advertisment or something or other graphics, on outside servers, u can get more then one ip address showing up.
so consequently it can be 111.333.333.444. 333.222..222..222 etc showing up, and its not really a port scan.
anyway u play it block it using protowall, block it through your firewall and that can resolve the issue.
if you that worried reset your modem, dsl modem and get new ip address, and if same stuff is happening, then block it via protowall, firewall or whatever.
also run adaware
spybot or something else too just to be on safe side.
read below what i was talking about from up above. cheers
