I need to get my hands on a full version of IE5 setup. The downland at MS only downloads a setup file, which uses the net to download more components.

I would love the complete setup like found on magazine cover disks so I cam install it on a machine without an Inrternet Connection.

I can't run this on my machine as I have IE6 installed. And I cant uninstall it. MS monopoly, obviously. I have read this might get me the full version (i.e. download the rest of it)

I have a disk for IE 5.5 if that helps at all. I could alway rip a copy.

I don't keep cover disks but I might find a version on my hardware drivers disks. (sigh). To the cupboard then...

If you can get your hands on a disk for MSN, they have a full version of IE 5 on it. AOL disks might too. You need to get the disks and snoop around.

I manged to find a complete download, from some university.

I need 5.5 as I want a browser for Windows 95.

Instaed of searching for "IE Complete" I searched for "IE Full".
