Both murdered in cold blood, which coincidentally made them bigger than they ever were!

The question is who is better??

Dunno they were both dam good lyricists but 2PAC and Biggie really I dont think can be fairly compared as TuPac was around far longer then Biggie... Eminem 50cent and Jay-Z I think are pretty much paving the road as far as rap goes now a lot of the new rap just sux imho DMX cant be counted out as well...

Pac has written many more songs and albums then Big but if Big were still around who knows but being the way things are the way they are I say 2PAC is the better of the two because not only were his songs all about gangsta this and gangsta that... Many of them were true to life man I liked a lot of the songs he did man Dear Mama that was a good tune.

The talent levels were very compareable all west coast and east coast shit aside the truth is both these rappers had a lot of talent. And is a very close call.

At least for me its tough and took a lot of thinking because Big could really sound off some smooth crafted lyrics.

Go ahead and look at a lot of there lyrics on some lyrics websites you will see the talent they were poetic... In truth if I recall right 2pac did take some type of writing courses or some crap I may be wrong or thinking of another rapper but I am almost positive it was pac who took classes that were for like poetry and such...

Either way Pac just had a larger fan base to begin with its kinda hard to judge two good rappers that have a far differnt amount of materials.

You know that I like 2 pac because he spoke his mind lyrically in his raps in a way that I could feel him. He new how to express himself and do it in a way which could offend, or would not offend, but others respected his way of saying what he said.

I am in the too close to call category, Your right though Cj Pac was an adept artist who wove his lyrics and beats into a tapestry. What I always find trippy about 2 Pac is that he had always talked about how he knew he would probably have a young death.

I like the beat and sound of "Hail Mary"

Biggie though had BOUNCE his beats were cool because it had that good bouncy bass and delivery.

As far as I am concerned they will be classics in their own rights for years

I know many would pick Tupac over Biggie here and everywhere but I truly pick up more charisma in B.I.G., his style I prefer over Tupac's. I get more anger and menace out of B.I.G. too. If I'm gonna listen to rap and blow off some steam, I'm going with Biggie Smalls.
