I've just installed a Netgear WGT624 router in my part-wired, part-wireless home network due to my rubbish Belkin router having finally given up the ghost.

Setup went fine but whenever I open any kind of P2P software, the internet connection drops out and the router becomes unrepsonsive and needs a hard restart.

My router firmware is up-to-date and the I am using the same settings in terms of port forwarding that i was using on my Belkin router:

Ports 6881 - 6889 opened to both TCP and UDP to my computer's IP address
I use Overnet and BT, with Overnet's port set in correspondence to these, I should be able to run both, yes?

Having looked round a few other forums, i've found that my router apparently doesn't support 'UDP Consitent Translation' which can apparently inhibit the use of p2p software. However, i've read some threads were people using this router have been able to acheive p2p connectivity.
