The servers have most prob maxed out due to the amount of downloads and the site of the LimeWire install (almost 6MB) if you want to download LimeWire look on Download.com or FileFront.com

EDIT:-----------

I've just visited LimeWire.com and it seems it's been roled back to an earlier time, it shows 4.0.8 for download.

everything seems to be running just fine now - it's showing 4.2.6 as the latest version right now

if you have a HOSTS file installed, it may be preventing you from accessing the site.

The site was down for a few hours .... but that could be a problem too.

Limewire I always dislike that client I dunno what it was about it but it was an annoyance from day one using that network one of my least favorite clients.

But connection problems in most casses are a matter of opening ports and ranges of ports and making sure that your hardware and software firewalls are configured correctly.

The easy way to do it is to slap your particular IP into the DMZ on your home network and then download sygate firewall and use that ... But its always better to learn how to configure your network without having to do this though it is more then enough security doing it that way.
