What's A Good Prog For Viewing Someone Else's PC

Say, I live in Houston (which I do) and Someone lives in Louisiana (which she does) and she has problems with her pc and her describing the problem is akin to being kicked in the head by a team of mules.
What's a good prog that I can send her to install that would allow me to view her pc from Houston? I've heard about "Go To My PC" and Norton's "PC Anywhere".
Any other suggestions??

Just a head's up - you're gonna need some form of broadband on both ends.

And, idk about a good Windows program - any remote connections I ever do with my computer, I do in Linux via SSH

Yeah, that's going to be real easy too. My experiences with Linux is it takes three or four days to read about it and another two days to implement what code (syntax) you need to enter. Don't get me wrong...I like playing around on old boxes with Linux, but lets face it, even Mandrake with gui isn't easy for the average user. I think uselesscrap's post isn't so useless. Remote assistance has always worked great for me (windows)...not that I've used it often, but it does work great for what was requested.

that's very quick, it took me years to pin down the subtleties of windows, and I'm not even sure I know them in Linux, even though I'm very comfortable at the command line.

VNC is freeware. If the other PC is behind a connection sharing systgem you may have to mess with port forwarding to make it accessable from the internet.
