sf.net is a good place to start.

g3torrent
shareaza
pdc
novatorrent
abc
burst
torrentstorm

I really like azureus though. Java apps launch slow but after a few hours running it settles in and runs like a fox (quickly, that is).

Ive tried that one,but bitspirit is for me even router friendly with UPNP,but speed wise all are similar.
Bitcomet and Bitlord are identical.

what i do is restrict that pop u site and when u go into the actuall page and bookmark it u never have

to encounter the pop ups! just say go into the mp3 section, ctrl + d and your done! its a great site

really, it takes away hours of searching for the song or album with enough sources or speed!!

=( for me shareaza was slow and didnt have enough settings. i could not easily change UL cap or several other settings that Azureus makes ez to find and change ABC is looking good so far, what i dont like about BitLord is the forced search bar to the left and the XXX chat toolbar button >< wish they could get rid of thoes but otherwise its a pretty nice program....

shareaza is open source, it does not have any spyware in it. shareaza and kazaa are two very different programs

I dont believe that the spyware installed by sharezaa would be listed as sharezaa spyware really I think they use some type of file which every so often according to your habbits allows a popup window in refernence to what you are searching for ... I am not 100% on that but I am pretty sure thats what a lot of them are using now...

There is still many many torrent sites around with content just do some searching the easiest way I found it was to type in google ".torrent" and bingo a slew of sites with torrents.

That was just a blatant guess. Shareaza has never contained malware and most likely never will. However, I still wouldn't recommend Shareaza if all you were after was a BitTorrent client.
