What are some movies coming out later this year that you think will be good or bad.
KING KONG (2005) December, seen the original several times and one question still reamains: Why did they build that huge wall with a giant door for King Kong to fit through? I expect great FX but who really cares about seeing another version of this classic.
INDIANA JONES 4 (2005) Could suck, could be good, its a coin toss.
THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE (2005) I loved this story as a kid, can't wait to see a movie of it.
BATMAN BEGINS (2005) I havent watched any of these since part 2 but I think this one will be one to watch foe sho.
CONSTANTINE (2005) Wish I could be excited about this one since its based on one of the best adult comics out there. I hope to be suprised by Keanu Reeves great acting skills. Where Gary Oldman when you need him.
WAR OF THE WORLDS (2005) Could be very good, I have not heard much about it yet.

I have said not once: in 2005 will be released "amityville horror 2005" and "evil dead 2005". I'm almost sure - these movies will be the horror classic.

I dont know if these movies will be released in the 05, but in the near future it will:
Dawn of the Dead 2
Day of the dead: Contagium (remake of "day fo the dead" orig.)
The Fog (remake of 'the fog' orig.)
The grudge 2
its awesome news for horror fans.

BATMAN BEGINS <---- they were filming parts of that here in Downtown Chicago(Lower/Upper Wacker Dr + on Lake St.).....and the new batmobile looks like a tractor on crack...still not bad.

well, i think the orig. 'king kong' always was, is and will be the classic. you wont find any people who havent seen it. maybe the 'king kong 2005' will be good or very good, but it hasnt any chances to overtake the orig. movie.

I've been wanting to see War of the Worlds for a while. I love the 1950's version and the book too.
I guess there was some smaller production studio working on a version of the film, which is going to follow the book's plot very closely. When Spielberg heard about this they speeded up pre-production of their movie to release it first. Now it's doubtful we'll see the smaller production on anything but a video store shelf.

The one I'm expecting to be special is Serenity, coming out in September of 2005.
It's based on the Fox cancelled TV series Firefly. Not that I was a big fan of the series, I just have a hunch Firefly and Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon has been waiting for a chance to prove himself on the big screen. I think he's going to do it.

What would make Indiana Jones bad, is the actor is now really old. Shame River Phoenix died.. He may been slightly old enough to play half of an Harrison Ford.

No offense, Modestas buddy... but you really need to watch a wider variety of martial arts films.
Jet Li's "Fist of Legend" should get you on the right track. That's some serious shit.

I watched some of the filming of Batman Begins in London last year. There was a scene outside the Gotham City Courthouse. The set looked pretty good with authentic fire hydrants, taxis cabs, lamp posts etc. I tried to sneak into the scene but I was spotted, but I think I would have stood out like a sore thumb anyway.

the article from one web site:
"New Horror Film From McG In The Works
Director McG's production company Wonderland Sound & Vision has teamed up with James Stern's Endgame Entertainment to co-produce the new horror flick "Stay Alive."
The movie will be financed by Endgame and is expected to start shooting in March in New Orleans. Videogame producer American McGee will design all the game effects for the movie and consult on its production.
To be directed by Brent Bell, the film is about a group of New Orleans teens who play an online horror videogame; as their characters die in the game, the players die also.
An expected release date has not yet been announced."
if its not absurd? very desperate idea for the horror movie... its already 2005, its time to make better movies than such $hits, which could be popular in the 80' or 90'!

Kareem was in "Game of Death", Bruce Lee's unfinished last movie, pieced together with body doubles and cardboard cut outs.
Master of the Flying Guillotine stars Jimmy Wang Yu of the One Armed Boxer flicks.
I love that one.

thats true, kareem was in "game of the death". it wasnt unfinished, they invited other actor, who actually wasnt similar to bruce... he looked as a man from chinese circus.

Because Steven Speilberg doesn't have the magic touch anymore. It could be good but its not a sure bet.

I dunno about Indiana Jones 4... he's lookin fairly soggy.
If they try to set it in the 30's again... heh... that's just not plausible. At least set it in 1960 or something.
I wonder if they had Harrison go under the knife and hit the gym for a year straight. I'd wager saying he looks even older than Sean Connery, and that's absurd!
