Hi all,

You probably get those questions a lot, but I'm new here, so...

Well, after Audiogalaxy went down I cant find any good program to download mp3. I like stand up comics and these are rare files, so it is really hard to find me some good files :).

So here's the question: "Whats the best mp3 program?" Maybe there is some simmilar to Audiogalaxy.

Also I have the same question concerning big files like movies, isos. I use DC++, and I love it becouse it is the most effective program I've found. Maybe there is something better? What do you think?

Lets see, stand up comics? I'm assuming you haven't much luck in that area with your DC. Well, some would say soulseek, cuz its fast and centralized like audiogalaxy, but soulseek is mainly for electronic music. Alot of audiogalaxy refugees went to blubster, its fast too, but because audiogalaxy was split up, you may or may not find what you want. Same with WinMX, except MX has way way way more selection, but the queues aren't very pleasant. But if its the only place that has what you want you better learn to live with them. Don't try gnutella or fasttrack. There aren't many rare files on gnutella (its slow too) and fasttrack limits your results, has the largest problem with fakers, (though the fakers shouldn't bother you, considering what you want is rare) and there aren't that many rare files (if they are, chances are you won't be able to see them.)

You'll have to experiment and pick the one that works best for your case.

and for movies, edonkey is slow as an old person driving, but the file will get done, though it may take a day and a half. Fasttrack has a lot of movies and is very fast, but I'd check out www.fasttrackmovies.com before you download anything. (fake files). WinMx has a lot of movies too, (espeically rare ones) but you'll have to wait a long time in queue, and a lot of times you'll be disconnected in mid queue as the user goes off.
