Yesterday I updated to the latest version of Musicmatch Jukebox and since then have been unable to use it. It crashes every time with out fail before it even finishes the little intro noise and displays the splash screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling same thing. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling version 9 and then version 9 crashes. I really need some help because I need music to survive. Another course of action would be using a different music player but I need one similar to jukebox with good library feature like jukebox. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated

I've never used it but J River has always been a rival to MusicMatch.

thanks napho I will try that, looks promising. Although its going to be hard leaving jukebox, suck as it may I am used to it, its a familiar face, greets me in the morning and after school and pretty much any other time I sit down at the pc. I am going to see if I can get version 7.5 to work though thanks for that lion

MusicMatch Jukebox has been a hassel for many since day one the new winamp seems to be the way to go for your musical needs. Dunno what it is but musicmatch is a conflicting program for many folks including myself anytime I see someone buy an HP that is a friend of mine I tell them to get rid of there bundled musicmatch jukebox and install winamp and so far everyone of them has been happy.
Some folks may still like music match as for solving its issues I cant be of much help as I no longer have the hassel of music match.
But if you absolutely need that musicmatch jukebox i'd suggest you take not of what other programs you are running while using musicmatch and try closing them down.
good luck,

I only use Musicmatch for it's super tagging feature, and easy mp3 cd creation.
After that, I let Winamp 5 take care of my music.
Musicmatch 8.0 is the best. It has better tagging features over 7.5 and looks nicer, and doesn't have the bloatedness of the musicstore or ondemand crap that comes with versions 9 and 10.
