Is it safe to assume that the 'ants p2p movement' is now finally dead?
Its been proven that Ants AND mute are not anonymous.
They've resorted to spamming NON-p2p sites (http://www.veganporn.com/documents.pl?mode=show&doc=1024456073) with their message.
Don't believe me?
Have a look here (http://www.google.com/search?q=Ants+p2p&hl=en&lr=&start=10&sa=N) for an example of what I mean.

The only thing I know of left to do is to have a poll in the zeropaid polls section on what the actual meaning of 'anonymous' is and either based on the result of that poll shut down this forum and stop all future discussion of 'anonymous' p2p specifically 'Ants' on this bbs.

Wheres your proof ?What are your methods? Or are you just sprouting more lies and bullshit like you tried to spread about me?.Looks like your credibility is in question now.Who are you ? Maybe a representive of the RIAA/MPAA who knows they cant win a case against someone useing a proxy chain that uses session ID's as stated by the EFF.Your rehtoric sure sounds like the type of propaganda those orgaisiations like to put out .

EDIT : Watchmen posted my name in this thread and threatend to post my adress and phone number which he obviously didnt have. The post was removed either by a modereator or himself , if you want an insight into how credible he is .

AussieMatt has a point. Where is your proof? How are they spamming ? They're merely prmoting it and giving instructions on how to use it - theres a clear difference between spamming and promoting. So some people have flamed Ants and the producers because of several (quite a few) threads concerning ants, those people were warned and they stopped seeing that they were wrong. Now you come along and try to be part of the game which isn't that cool.

It can be said with 100% cetainty that at this time you can transfer a file anonymously. No one can prove that you are the person that is actualy sharing the file or downloading it. The only thing that can be prooven is that you are present on the Ants network. Given that at present it is not illegal to be present on the ants network or unknowingly proxy files, you are safe. Given that the purpose of a p2p prgram is to transfer files and ants does this function anonymously then Ants is in fact an Anonymous network.

If you have an valid argument that shows that you can not transfer FILES anonymously, please present it.

If you would like to challange this, then we kindly invite you to look through the source code and point out vulnerbilities to us. If you do in fact find any flaws, you will have our deepest appreciation. We will then join you in a joint statement declaring ants unsecure and demand the Gwren, the programmer, correct the flaw.
