Ok, who do you think is the queen of pop? Base your answers on music, how much you fancy them etc.

Madonna!
I think the songs are a lot better and with more party feeling(for ex. get into the groove).kylie is not bad but more slow and sexy chilling music.
for me pop is party music,so I voted for madonna.

Kylie without a doubt, better music sweeter sounding voice, and much much sexier.

Kylie's one hot peice of ass. If Modonna would slut it up like back in the day, she might be boner material again. MILF! MILF! MILF!

Madonna, without a question.

She has better music, a better voice, is far more visonary and controverstial.

She was, is, and will forever be the Queen of Pop.

Some info, Kylie is no spring chicken either, perhaps you do not remember the remake of "locomotion" in the 80's, that was kylie. she is 37, not that that is old, but she is not the very young woman a lot of people think she is, she does look like she is in her late 20's

If we're talking looks then Kylie looks incredible for her age.

However, on the talent side, Madonna wins hands down.

neither

i wouldn't listen to anything they made by choice

not that it matters as being called the "queen of pop" is equivalent to being "king of the refuse heap"

uh oh
my sarcasm sense is tingling

it's a free country, and i am perfectly free to not like shitty music. new doesn't equal bad automatically (look at madonna, she hasn't been new in almost 30 years), but do you seriously think kylie minogue will have any career at all in 5 years? or any of the lindsay lohan/hillary duff/brintey/simpson cartel will have jobs anywhere but the immediate future?

i wouldn't say i'm "unique", but liking the flavor of the week because that's what mtv/nickelodeon/RIAA tell you to do is hardly "unique" either

p.s. mature musical tastes are something you grow into, not out of

yeah, mine is tingling also, you should now, i have traded files with you, and you should be aware 1: i have a VERY diverse collection, and 2: I would say 60-70% of our musical interests overlap.

No, lohan wont have a career, duff won't have a career, Brittany won't etc; but Kylie and Madonna, it is safe to say they have established themselves and are mainstays in pop.

Are you drunk?

Lindsay's gonna still be here in 10 years time. She's the queen bee of the teenage market, and incase you haven't noticed, we're never gonna run out of teen and tween boys and girls.

But Britney, Madonna and Kylie?

Madonna's been in this game for 20+ years, her tour was the best selling tour in recent years, selling out 56 of it's 57 shows. She's managed to sell close to 200 million records. She is the reigning queen of pop/dance music. 19 years after her first #1, she continues to rule the top of the charts. She ain't goin' no where.

Kylie's been in the game for 15 years, and will still be in it for another 15 years.

Britney, she's only been around for 6 years but in that time managed to sell over 100 million records worldwide. She's constantly in the media spotlight for everything she does. 2004 represented the year of Britney's reinvention, after being in the spotlight for merely personal antics in 2003, she was finally brought back from the edge of musical extincition and continues to sell her records. Nay-sayers consantly said and continue to say that Britney would be/will be a passing phase and in a year or so no one will care anymore, yet she still manages to make headline news. She has a group of devoted critics ready to bash her at any moment, and an obsessed fan base. I don't think Britney is merely the "flavor of the week" She's easily the flavor of an entire generation and will be around for the next generation.

that's what they said about bobby sherman, leif garrett, the new kids on the block, and any number of other pop idols--where are they now? washed up, often drug addicted has beens whose last tv appearance was on "behind the music" to plug their album that nobody bought

do you really think anyone will want to see a 40 year old britney dancing around lip syncing? of course not, she'll be replaced by (if she hasn't already been) by a younger, hotter version of a dancing lip syncer

at least madonna can write a song, and sing if she has to

Ever heard of the term reinvention? It's whats kept Madonna round. No one would want to see some 40 year old rolling around on a bed singing about how some guys sex is so good it feels like she's a virgin again. Britney's taking a very long break and when she returns she's not gonna be some little school girl lipsynching and dancing some routine anymore.

And They all only lasted for 2-3 years tops, Britney's been here for 6 years and still comands attention at the drop of a pin.

only because we live in a boring clear channel world and they would hate for people to discover something they don't control

For me its Kylie!

Madonna is no queen of pop to me, she was a fucking hardcore pornstar for fuck sakes, he shit stinks, Kylie just makes you want to fuck her brains out with most of her songs and vids, and she's got a great way and style in the way she does her music, Madonna is very predictable, with Kylie you never really know whay you're going to get!
Im a rock n roll guy all the way but if I have to choose who's better, ya its "K"

The girls/guys have to learn to swallow if they want to make it in the golden years. Hey, things are tuff all over.

You gotta take it in the mouth, if you want to break out

You got to take it on the lips, if you want to stay hip

You got to take it all the way, if you want to get paid

Every download equals a lost blowjob
