Corrupt files off torrent sites :(

I have downloaded about 5 games now off different torrent sites using Shareaza I have adsl 512 and it takes me a while to dl large files like that and they never install:(, there is always and error at instalation. Each game maybe takes me a week to download (stopping and starting) and I was wondering if its possible that because I keep on pausing and resuming the data gets messed up or if the file of the torrent site was already corrupt??? Does anyone else have this problem???

You probably cant answer this here but is it possible to get the game working, I have all the CD.iso s just the begining of the installation that gives me a fatal error!

Well, if the file was being transfered corrupt, the BT client should catch it. Then again, I've had problems with Shareaza and torrents, so constant pausing could be the problem. I'd recommend first trying another client - if you're looking for a basic, no thrills client, check out BitTornado.

Do not mention any name of the game, please edit it out!

Are you sure those games are for the right system (PC, Xbox, PS2)? Did you check for crack in a crack directory?

When downloading a torrent make sure that there are a few users whom have 100% of the file, if there is 1 out of say 20 then the file could be corrupt and that arse hole is sharing it cos hes a twat. The same thing has happened to me, and i've checked and only one person or none are sharing the file. So be careful

There is no crack dir, they seem to be clones of the original CD, i thought i would just need a keygen to install and a no cd crack to play :( It is definatly for pc as the install menu comes up fine, choose dir, etc

Ill also try a different torrent client, its just so anoyying when u spend weeks of downloading and it doesnt work!
