Hi, ive been looking everywhere for guides etc...and im not sure so ive decided to finally post. I have a netcomm 1300 plus4 wireless router, with wireless pci cards in the 3 computers. I have a 1.5mb plan with TPG, and downloads with kazaa, or internet downloads from sites download at 150kb/s. But my problem is with BitTorrent. One torret has doownloaded at 150kb. At the moment im downloading 2 seperate ones, one stays on 0 alot, maybe 5 at the max, while my other onee is at around 15. Now this is the confusing part. My slow one has a yellow light, and my faster one has a green light. Im not sure why these arnt going at 150kb, as i have a fair amount of seeders than peers. 9 seeds, 9 peers for slow one, 52 seeds 79 peers for faster one. I think the problem might by because of 'Choking'. Ive heard this slows doown speeds dramitcally, and both of my downloading torrents look like they are heavily chocked, most IP's are chocked. Could someone please give me advice on what i could do to fix this problem. Security is not an issue for me at the moment, if that gets in the way.

Sorry about the long messages, hopefully someoone can understand my problem and help me out.

Thanking you in advance

Lee

Make sure you forward the correct ports on your router. Check your client to see which ones you are using.

Make sure your firewall allows connections for your client. You could try turning it off, but I wouldn't recommend it.

You may have to allow multiple connections from the same IP.

The last thing is, there is no miracle cure to get fast DL speeds all the time. I was a member of TB and even with their phenomenal members, I would sometimes get sluggish speeds on torrents with over 200 or 300 seeders and many less leechers. Just go with it.

yes, it may just be the torrent, although now its 9seeds 6peers. im not quite sure, but it is dwnloading around 10 now. I have forwarded ports 6881 to 6889 on my netcomm router, and 6881 to 6889 are the rang of ports in BitTornado, with randomize ports unchecked. I think it has something to do with * SNUBBED *, ass i am only downloading from the unchecked snubbed ip addresses. I disabled the onboard and windows firewalls, and yeah. On a couple of torrents i get a green light right away, but the rest stay on yellow. Ive tried turning off NAT and putting it in bridged mode, but i dont think that will make my network internet work then. If anyone else has the same problem or knows whats going on can you talk about it. If not dont worry about it. Thanks for your help Rajarius.

Thanks...
