Who is ZP for then?
Is it a club for buddies to chat and banter about this and that?
Is it just for File sharing experts who know not to use Kaaza, have their favourite DC hub and their newsgroup subscription?
OR IS IT A FILE SHARING PORTAL FOR EVERYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN FILE SHARING INCLUDING SUPRNOVA REFUGEES.
If ZP is not the life boat for these users -WHICH SITE IS (SLYCK) ?

Well well well, freeloader kicks some digital ass - unkind posts like this are just not needed. Just accept the fact that zp is very popular and people can do anything they want (as long as they follow the rules).

No because it effects the sites bandwith capacity.........in a nutshell why do you think zp is so slow now?

All the guests count as views for the whole spectrum of ads, they are a huge benefit to the site in that sense; it may take a while to bring server capacity up to speed, but I suggest welcoming these guests rather than railing against them.

One of the reasons is because they are dealing with a virus, also Im glad to have all the hits here. It pays for the bandwidth, and in turn gives us a site. There is a lot of work being done, and the site will get back up to speed after a bit. I welcome all the new folks.

Jorge has physical access to the computer which the zeropaid site is hosted on and sometimes he uses it to encode movies or to download from BT/overnet.

Who cares if more people are viewing ZP?
1) I haven't had any slowdown on the site
2) This means more ad revenue for ZP (which means less ads we have to see)
3) We get to spread our message to more people.
Just relax, ok?

We are presently averaging 320 members, and guests online, many are Google hits, so they are using it, and in so doing finding us, as an information site. Again I welcome them.

Freeloader needs to calm down. I'm sure the owner's of this site don't mind increased traffic.

other people can correct me if I'm wrong
but freeloader767:
dude, you have appeared out of nowhere and started making pointless threads and stiring things up.
What is the point of this thread?
What was the point of the do-you-have-what-it-takes-to-be-a-zp-mod thread?
What is the point of the zp logo thread?
Or the I want to kick Seph's ass posts?
I'm not trying to flame, but you come here, start threads that have the flame war potential, and act like the authorative/toughguy.....I think u need to relax.
Who cares if "refugees" come here. Thats what the site is for; thats what bandwidth is for; thats actually why were here.
It is after all, "the file sharing portal".
Now if people come here and start posting links discusisng unrelated things like wine tasting, bungee jumping, and underwater basket weaving.....then, maybe you would have a point.
Just my 2 cents...

hmmm, why have a site on the internet if you don't want people to visit it?
i'm currently home from school, so my website is being hosted on residential cable. would i be mad if 300 users visited my site concurrently? heck no. i'd be as excited as ...an excited person.

Exactly what this means, is that we are doing something right. If we had no hits, I would be looking for ways to solve the problem.

I want to say that I like to welcome anyone from suprnova.org here and don't listen to freeloader.
I on highspeed and did notice that zp was a little slow but I don't mind it because we all here are guest of Jorge.
Freeloader if you don't like ZP and how it run then don't come back. New visitors are always welcome to ZP no matter where in the world they live or what other site they sign up for.

The speed is much better now, and in an emergency something can be done if it really croaks. With Jorges approval only that is.
