Hi,
Ever since I upgraded to winMX 3.3, I cant download any large zip file without getting CRC errors when I try to unzip. Ive tryed both Winrar 3.0 and Winace 2.2. Both allways give me a CRC error, and niether can repair the files. I also tested my hard drive to make sure it wasnt messed up, but any large files I allready have that I copy there are OK. This has happened to me with 4 of the 5 200MB - 1GB files I've downloaded. They were all files that over 40 people had, so I would assume its not the source file. The download shows up complete, and is the right file size. I have downloaded many large files with 2.6, 3.0, 3.2 and theres never a problem. So even though I cant definately say its winmx 3.3 thats caused this problem, it seems to be the most logical explanation. Winmx 3.3 never crashes on me, but I just cant download a working large zip file. Can someone please tell me if they have this problem with the new winmx, or is it just me?

Thanks,

-Dave

sometimes it happens. try a program called Quickzip (http://quickzip.org) . (its free). It could open over 20 different archives: zip, ace, rar, lzh,....more
