Has anyone had any experience with running LimeWire on OS 8.1 . It doesn't seem to like it much

limewire was retrofitted for mac os8-9. that's why the file is about 8 mb. it is written in java 1.2, but for windows, linux, mac osx, it is written in 1.4.
you have two options... try to find another way to share, or
and i think this is the better way if you have $130...
buy mac osx jaguar. just go to apple.com, click store, and find it... but make sure your system (which im guessing to be an imac) fits the requirements. and don't worry about not being able to use old apps from os8, bc of the compatibility option in osx... it loads the 'classic' environment so you can use those apps.
osx with limewire is so much better looking than any of the others, i wish i could use it (i have a winbox and an os9, but the os9 ain't mine, so i can't upgrade)

Note if you dont have the other parts of the UBB code then it will not work.. To get royal blue you need that part and "" at the end of the text. That goes for others too like for the font you would have to put "" and for bold "" at the end of your message or where you want it to have effect before it works. Only without the quotes.

Is it turned on in the control panel or do you turn it one when you post at the bottom of the reply screen? It goes to the e-mail you registered with too.. If there are any problems then it might be a problem with the forums sending the notification which youll have to talk to jorge or chris if that is the case.
