I studied all the torrent creation tools for bitorrent. Most of them deal with sha1.
Because Ants uses as well some kind of torrent protocol, and if there will be a 2. generation BT-plugin or a BT-2.generation app implementing ants, then it would be handy, if Ants is as well using the sha1 hashing scheme additionally.
This would offer as well magnet uri handling, and a swaming of the sha1-sahred mediafiles for torrentaid.com created/ hybrid torrents.
so is it possible that Jetiants or Hornet gets aasw ell a sha1 hashing like shareaza is creating magnet links ?
