I looked at the guide on the azureus web page, but it doesn't give very clear directions. It seems to be aimed more at people running linux, and I'm on winxp. Does anyone have a winxp/newb friendly link on how to set up tor for azureus? If not, would someone who has gotten it to work under winxp mind giving me a how to?

Thanks!

If you follow the directions on their website it should be easy enough. But I'll try to break it down for you.

1st) Download the Latest Java JRE (http://192.18.97.44/ECom/EComTicketServlet/BEGIN79727488F8EC3C1EA97E7E8EE4D1EF3B/-2147483648/637547019/1/531950/531830/637547019/2ts+/westCoastFSEND/jre-1.5.0-oth-JPR/jre-1.5.0-oth-JPR:1/jre-1_5_0-windows-i586.exe) .

2nd) Install the Java JRE that you just downloaded.

3rd) Download the most current (stable) build of Azureus (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/azureus/Azureus_2.2.0.0_Win32.setup.exe?download) .

4th) Install Azureus. You will notice upon installation that it will ask you a series of questions dealing with system specifics and connections.

5th) If you need help configuring the client itself or want more info about it's features I suggest going to the homepage and reading. In a 2 second perusal of their homepage I found this guide (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/doc/Azureus%20User%20Guide.htm).

Thanks for the info but it's not really azureus that's the problem, it's Tor. Anybody know how to get Tor and azureus working together on winxp?

With a little Googling you can find anything: http://azureus.sourceforge.net/doc/AnonBT/Tor/howto_0.5.htm
