I'd like to say that linking to a pro version is illegal and disrespectful to the programmers, but still, i'd download it if i saw the link :)!

it can't be illegal as limewire is opensource and everybody could make his own pro version of limewire(if he can compile java).

That is not a valid conclusion. Limewire own the copyright
of their source and binarys. They can distribute a copy
under the GPL to person A and seperatley license it to person
B under a more restrictive license.

It would be legal for someone to take the free limewire
source code, modify it to have the same features as
the pro version and distribute it. It is not legal to
distribute the limewire pro binarys sold by limewire.

As can you with the normal limewire...but hey, this may sound anti-filesharer, but i seriously think we do owe good programmers/game-designers/movie-makers some credit.

no,you can't with normal version of limewire get a ultra connection(blue stripes). and yes with the second part of your text youre are right!I buy music,I go to the cinema etc. but I would never give a $ for a filesharing program.

gregorio already compled a version from limewire CVS and added .torrent support.
i think it kicks ass, and is better then PRO (imnsho)

I went to NSANE'S website for the new version of Limewire Pro. No File To Download. Nothing Happened. Did any one else experience this? Let Me Know

I ise a version from nsane. Its the PRO version. Its a free download. Just go to google and type in nsane. The wesite is nsane productions. Sorry that I posted this before. A new version is posted on his webste.

Hi this is my first time here and ive got a question maybe someone can help.
I downloaded Limewire and it was great but it seems to give my machine some probs, like i kept getting booted of AOL so i uninstalled and everything is fine again.
Anybody else had this problem and did you manage to cure it.
