Cheap and easy way to activate XP?

Just borrowed my mates home edition copy of XP, as we all know its only licensed for 1 comp. Conseqently his activation code won't work for me. Anyway i have 30 days to find a solution, that preferably won't involve me giving lots of money to the big faceless corporation of Microsoft. Or is Bill Gates its face?

Anyways the clocks ticking!!!!!

Even tho I don't like it...get LINUX...no activation needed!....or....turn yourself into M$ and maybe they'll give you a free copy with a legal key.

Sorry forgot to mention thati sold my computer to my mate for a few quid and then installed XP on it for him. He.. errr... doesn't use his old one anymore because it broke!

Honest!If your friend doesn't use his copy of XP anymore, then maybe he'll give you the key that came with the CD when he bought it. Otherwise, your request for an illegal key is not allowed here. Go to a warez site and ask. Read the forum rules before you post!

XP's activation is a real pain for people who don't know what to do but want to obtain XP in an allegedly less than legal fashion.

You can do one of two things:

1.) Somehow buy or obtain a copy of XP VLK (Volume License, or "Corporate") and then find a Keygen that spits out VLK keys. No activation needed.

2.) If you already have a Retail or OEM version installed, you need some sort of activation crack. There may be one called something like "Windows 2003 & XP Anti Product Activation Crack 1.6.2" but I do not know where to find it or if it works.

There is only one working keygen for SP2 that I know of, but I can't recall the name but I do know that the Blue List "Key Recoverer and Discoverer" is definately not it, because microsoft patched that. Also if the "keygen" only spits out a handful of keys its not a real keygen just a lister and delete it. That should narrow things down for you.

Not unless you are very carefull as you might really get your pc shanked. There are lots of fakes out there also, just to make life interesting. Also as this is a warez thread that I apparently missed, its being closed.
