I have been using Azureus succesfully for the past 8 months then suddenly it stopped. All the downloads are on red. I tried opening new torrents same thing. I upgraded to the latest version, no help. The problem is on Windows XP on win2000 (on another partition it seems to be working a bit nominally though not like before) Does any one else have these problems.
Strange thing is that when test it for connectivety, the test runs fine.

Azureus is still standing all paralyzed with all the downloads on red. I'm using btdownload, but it isn't as satisfying as Azureus as far as I'm concerned. Guys, I need some help here.

Its possible that the tracker is down. Have you tried a different torrent?

Have you made any major (or minor) hardware or software changes within the past few days? New modem, router, ISP? Upgrade to SP2 just recently?
If the answer to all of those are no, and taking into consideration that you DID forward the appopriate ports, you might want to consider forwarding random, high number ports. (like 9332-9342 or something) Something non-standard that your ISP would not block.

No new hardware and no new software (none at least that would affect the OS in a major way. As for the ports I tried forwarding it by adding one before the default ports as one of the FAQs on this forum suggested. But still no luck. Thing is it worked just fine before I just can't figure out what exactly it is that ruined it? Could you guys instruct me on how to clean install it? Some how the ild settings will not go and I'm sure that has something to do with it.

If it says the tracker is offline than its offline, I think. Sometimes they do go down. You can wait a while and it might come back online.

Sounds like you think its the settings well to clean install just delete the folder after uninstallation, if this doesnt do the job try another app like abc

Muskrat I kept the torrents on all night, plus most of those torrents came online with other clients, namely (Shareazaa, burst) but they're not so fast and efficient as Azureus. Its something with the settings.
As for whistlers suggestion, I tried removing the directory before reinstalling got the same result, no I think it's the settings in the registry or user settings (I use XP) I need to know all the locations that Azureus uses to store info. Thanks for the help.

I found the solution. I deleted the user application file (on XP) after uninstalling then reinstalled Azureus and now it worked just fine.
