wow... This would be cool to own, an audiogalaxy clone that could be completely yours to own, but while at the same time does sound like a scam. Who would sell a p2p network on ebay and only ask for $99. Whatever... I don't use this program anyways, because it is really slow.

Maybe the RIAA will buy it.
That'd be a cheap way for them to put it out of business.

does that actualy come with the source code, or just the dam domain? Cause someone should buy it and release spiware free. That's all ti has, and inpliment groups, lol

To Whom It May Concern,

We would like to announce that P2P Network MediaSeek.pl has been placed on auction on eBay.
The reason for that is we no longer wish to develop the system and at the same time do not desire for it to simply disappear. Hopefully somebody will be keen on continuing our work.

This offer includes:
- Server software (incl. web-based and mobile interfaces)
- Windows client software
- Linux (i386) client software
- Database dump (users, songs, files)
The software is fully developed and working (as can be seen at http://mediaseek.pl/).

The buyer will gain exclusive rights to both the software (including source code) and the domain name. That person can do whatever he/she wants with it - keep it as it is, release it without the ad-support, make it open-source or even delete it ;).

The starting price is $99
Auction ends December 10th at 13:15 PST

More details can be found in auction's description.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3857140659

PS. If you think you know somebody who might be interested feel free to forward this message, we would really appreciate it.

Best Regards
MediaSeek.pl Team

Look, if you were true P2Pers, you would release the source code and make it an open source project.

But I smell fanboying here.

Yes, make it better............use it for a honeypot and bust users.

Oh shit I just gave them another idea

Database dump (44,000+ users; 1,000,000+ songs; 1,650,000+ file

Seems it already comes with a nice list of people and what they are sharing. They RIAA needs to scoop up this deal!

Wouldn't be a bad deal for them. If they average collecting $4,000 a settlement, then they would just have to sue one user and minus the $100 they paid for the program off of ebay, that equals $3,900 profit.

What notbob means Modestas is that if you win the auction at 200 dollars
with the words "reserve not met" still next to the item name then you still loose because
the reserve is a mininum amount set by audiogalaxy before they will sell it.

Only when the reserve has been met will you win the auction

Modestas...

Read and understand:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/buyer-reserve.html

More than likely, this item will not be sold during this offer. The seller will be forced to keep the item and decide if he wishes to place it back up for bids. If he were smart, he would lower the reserve to a price someplace near the highest bidder of this auction. Other than that, no one will be interested in bidding again since it appears he want more than the public is interested in paying.

Personally, I can't wait till this ends.

hehe, auction was finished two days ago... but still nothing new at www.mediaseek.pl
the same situation.
Its because the winning bidder didnt match the asking price,
1,400 dollars is a bit cheap for what they are offering.
This means it was not actually sold
So I will assume that they will have another auction with a higher starting bid
probably 1,400 dollars.

oh, I see....
That is what "reserve not met means"

reserve not met=no sale

reserve= the amount seller wants for item being auctioned.

Modestas, get some of your friends together and chip in.
If you guys can save money you could open the world first Lithuanian p2p :tilted
