shareaza for newbie

hi everyone how are you all,

i am a very very newbie to file sharing and have been using shareaza reently but i have jus gt a netgear dg834 and have set it up the obtan dns and need really alot of noobie help on how to open the port past the firewall so shareaza can connect and download as i am about 2 get a 1mb connection i have 512kps and its takin me 20 mins to download a song as i cnt connect to gnutella but can to gnutella 2 n ednkey i am confused and needing help thankyou

in shareaza, press f9, and quary all the g web cashes in the list, then restart shareaza, disable ed2k tools settings, edonkey2000 uncheck connect to ed2k and always connect, then go to apply and then go to gnutella and make sure g1 is inabled, once this is done you should have no prob with shareaza.

kk thankyou i have done this im not sure wt u mean buy "quary" but i pressed f9 and removed the grey coloured ones and then i dd the rest n made sure gnutell was enable but it isnt connecting wt ports do u use do u jus open one the original 6346 or sumit like that thankyou anyways
