Is there such a thing as anonymous P2P?
Can you connect a Bittorrent Client through a proxy server so your ISP does not have log of your movements?
From initial research it looks as if this cannot be done through free anonymous proxy servers, so can anyone recommend a good paid one?
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes there are anonymous P2P options. I have been doing quit a bit of research lately, and I have found that the options are FREENET/FROST, MUTE, and ANTSP2P. The research was spawned from an abrupt termination of my Cable Inet connection due to a "copyright owner" sending an email to my provider. Here to find out, the email doesn't have to say much, and the ISP does not have to notify you BEFORE the termination. However, unless the copyright owner SUBPEONA's the ISP, they only have an IP address to go by. And suposedly, by federal law, the ISP will disconnect you permanently for the second offense. I have been drawing up a newspaper article about how the initial mandatory termination comes without any recourse availability on the part of the consumer, and requires very little to actually get it disconnected in the first place.

But anyway, enough with the rant...
All three conceal your real IP address and do not create direct connections between the uploader and downloader.
ANTSP2P has the ability to download using both ED2K links and torrent links anonymously, but there is the possibility that the other host does not have ANTSP2P running and therefore the links you may be invalid.
FREENET is more of an overall solution, allowing anyone to publish ANYTHING (even kiddy porn) anonymously, and possibly on someone elses computer (local encryption).
FROST is a freenet client that allows you to transfer files easiliy using the FREENET network. Freenet in general is a bit slow because of how it functions and isn't quite as user friendly as the others, but anonymity is higher than anything.
Both MUTE and ANTSP2P encrypt data between you and your "local neighborhood". These neighbors could be basically anyone in the world, but there are only 5 or 6 of them that are required. ANTSP2P does end to end encryption but there is a big argument about if it is very reliable, because of man in the middle attacks. I guess when it comes down to it, there is a choice between security and anonymity.
