What's new in v3.54 beta 1

* Completely new Library component. The new component's features include fully asynchronous file and folder scan on separate background thread, video file meta info, full recursive operation, selective sharing, and several other major improvements.

thanks for the news skankito. for many winMx fans the big realise could come not as far away as thought. for me, I don't load a p2p because they have a new libary component, I saw the screenshots thats enough

Anybody out there using this 3.54 Beta that might be able to answer why the library doesn't save like v3.53...Is it just B/C it's beta??? I did notice a new lib4.dat file that makes it look like this function may be possible w/3.54. Maybe I'm just a dumbass doing something wrong???

I like the feature of being able to tick off files I don't want to share and then if I need to share 'em for trade or something I can just untick it to open it up...

Yea, since it's a beta I'm thinking that's the reason. Perhaps when a final version comes out it will change.

I was a staunch user of WinMX a number of years back, after Napster fell apart I started to use the program and didn't look back until I realized that other better programs started cropping up. I now use Azureus and Shareaza for my file sharing needs. Maybe with a new network upgrade will I finally return to WinMX.

Looks fixed...3.54 beta3 has been released and my library saves now... =) yay
