WinMX Upload problems and.......

I have been a winmx user for more than a few years. I never have problems until lately. It seems I cant upload to any one using the default "port/In Out UDP packets" settings. Could it be those ports are blocked by my ISP? I have test ran WinMX with no firewall and on a clean install of windows with same results, so I know this is an issue not related to firewalls or windows. Another thing is most users I message go through, now most don't and I get a reply about ".......privacy settings". Is this an issue on my end or the user I'm trying to message?

Are you using a primary or secondary connection? Try using a primary, and change the default ports to something other than the defaults. If you're behind a firewall make sure you forward those ports to your computer's ip.

The privacy settings message is probably due to the user you're trying to message having their settings set to NOT allow any messages.
