damn PTP

why can i never download files at decent speeds????
i have a cable - 512K connection and for some reason i can never download from PTP's at any more than 20 kb
i use winmx and for some reason it wont let me multy source download either????

can someone give me some advice on winmx?
im behind a unex router and i have to connect as a secondary user if thats any help

I've got cable and the most I usually get is 20k/s. Sometimes I get lucky and pick up a T1, then its pure paradise, but usually 20 is what you'll get. Keep trying different users. The low speeds are due to people throttling thier upload bandwidth.

And about your multisource d/l's, don't d/l off of opennap if you want that. It does not work, that option is unavailable.

And make sure all the users you want to add to the download are in light blue.
